Our mission
Getting your licence and starting to drive in Canada can feel overwhelming. Government websites are dense, requirements change, and the practical knowledge — what insurance really costs, how to look after a car, how to stay safe in winter — is scattered across the internet or learned the hard way.
Drivers World exists to fix that. We bring together everything a new driver in Ontario should know into one friendly, easy-to-read place. From your first G1 knowledge test to earning your full G licence and owning your first car, we're here to guide you through it.
Who runs Drivers World
Drivers World is written and maintained by Andrea Molina, an individual based in Mexico City, Mexico. This is not a company — it's a one-person, independent publishing project. Andrea researches and writes the guides directly, with the goal of making Ontario's licensing system and the basics of car ownership easier for newcomers and new drivers to understand.
Why everything is free
We made a deliberate choice: every guide and article on Drivers World is free, and always will be. There are no accounts to create, no premium tiers, and no paid services. Drivers World does not sell driving courses, tutoring, test bookings, insurance, professional advice, or anything else — the site's only source of revenue is advertising.
To keep the lights on and the content free, the site is supported by advertising. Ads let us reach and help as many new drivers as possible without ever charging our readers. We keep advertising unobtrusive and clearly labelled, and ads never influence the guidance we give.
Independent and unaffiliated
Drivers World is an independent educational website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Government of Ontario, the Ministry of Transportation, DriveTest, ServiceOntario, any insurance company, or any car dealer. We have no commercial relationship that shapes our advice.

Our primary audience is new drivers in Ontario — including newcomers to Canada navigating the licensing system for the first time. Much of our content on insurance, maintenance, defensive driving and winter conditions is useful to new drivers right across Canada.
